The House
Mr Catt's House offers a gentle and restorative space with modern comforts including new mattresses and toppers and 100% cotton bed linen. Wifi runs throughout the house, there are two televisions and a choice of games and books to enjoy.
The cottage is both child and baby friendly, equipped with a choice of full sized cots, travel cots and cot bedding. There are 2 high chairs and a fixed stair gate. Additional baby/toddler accessories include a baby bath, non-slip bath mat, potty, toddler seat (for the loo) and step. Baby/toddler kitchen accessories include cutlery and plates.

Downstairs
Mr Catt's has a spacious kitchen diner with an integral cosy sitting space and 32" TV. It has wide bifold doors which open out onto the pretty garden. The kitchen diner is well equipped with a double oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, KitchenAid food mixer and KitchenAid blender with attractive colourful tableware. There is a dining table for 8.
The cottage has two sitting rooms, one with a large inglenook fire place and wood burning stove and a 55" smart TV, perfect for cosy movie nights snuggled up in front of the fire. The second sitting room has a desk, chair and desk light and a double futon sofa bed which can be set up on request to accommodate 2 additional guests. Guests tell us it is very comfy.
There is one downstairs bathroom with a shower, basin and WC.
Mr Catt's House is stylishly furnished, and has been thoughtfully designed to offer a home away from home and a relaxing stay for families, including children, babies and dogs, and groups of friends.
Upstairs
Upstairs there are three even sized bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath, basin, WC and a shower above the bath. In every room, including the bathroom, there are magnificent rural views of the idyllic surrounding fields. Bedroom 1 has a super-king sized bed, bedroom 2 has a king sized bed and bedroom 3 has two full sized single beds. There is hanging space and drawer space for clothes in each room.
Garden
Mr Catt's has a fenced lawned garden to the front and side of the house with a patio area to the rear and side which leads to a section of garden acquired from the adjoining field. The field part of the garden is lightly tamed but there are rabbits, rabbit holes and brambles. It is suitable for dogs to run in and adults to enjoy but little children will need supervision. The outside patio area with a barbecue is in place for you to enjoy and make the most of outdoor space during spring and summer days. There is a dining area for 8 comprising tables, chairs and parasols. There are 2 sun loungers.
The back garden is next to wide fields which are home to sheep and lambs for most of the year.
We have an EV charge point available for guests to use on request, use will be charged at cost.
